Local News in Brief : Countywide : Builders to Hear Talks About Traffic Problems

Three experts, a county supervisor and a former county supervisor will discuss plans to ease Orange County’s escalating traffic problems at the next general membership meeting of the Building Industry Assn. of Orange County.
The discussion, which will be held at Airporter Inn in Irvine on Monday, will be led by Bruce Nestande, a former supervisor and now vice president of Arnel Development Co.
Supervisor Gaddi H. Vasquez will also speak to the BIA members, along with Keith E. McKean, director of Orange County’s Caltrans District 12; John Meyer, executive director of the county’s Transportation Corridor Agencies, and Stanley T. Oftelie, executive director of the Orange County Transportation Commission.
Dinner will precede the 8 p.m. discussion.
