The Preps : Mission Viejo Hangs On to No. 1 Ranking in Poll

Mission Viejo High School, one of only five teams with perfect records after five weeks of play, remained the top-ranked team in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep football poll.
The Diablos are scoring an average of 30.6 points per game and allowing an average of only 5.6 points.
Other teams with perfect records are second-ranked Servite, third-ranked Edison, fourth-ranked Woodbridge and seventh-ranked Corona del Mar. Woodbridge has the county’s longest winning streak, with nine consecutive victories in the past two seasons.
