Report Says Bradshaw Has Tumor Near Heart

Doctors in Dallas have discovered a tumor near the heart of former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw, a television station reported Sunday.
KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh reported the tumor is attached either to or behind Bradshaw’s heart. Bradshaw, 40, was tested last week for what he described as pains in his chest, the station said.
Bradshaw’s wife, Charla, denied the report in a message left with their answering service.
Bradshaw was scheduled to travel to Philadelphia for Sunday’s CBS broadcast of the Philadelphia Eagles game against the Dallas Cowboys, but remained home in Irving, Tex.
Bradshaw was expected to be readmitted for more testing and possible biopsy Sunday at an unnamed Texas hospital.
Bradshaw led the Steelers to an unmatched 4 Super Bowl victories between 1975 and 1980.
