Country singer-songwriter Waylon Jennings underwent two procedures to clear a blood clot from an artery while hospitalized last week in Tustin, a spokeswoman said Sunday. According to a statement released by Jennings’ office, the singer returned to Nashville on Friday pronounced fit after two separate procedures: first, medication was given to help dissolve the clot, then a procedure using a balloon to surgically push out the clot. Jennings will resume his concert schedule Nov. 6 in Mobile, Ala. In the meantime, the singer plans to rest up at home.
