All-Southeast Team Draws Five From Bell Gardens, El Rancho

Bell Gardens and El Rancho high schools each have five players on The Times’ Southeast All-Star High School Football Team.
From Bell Gardens are offensive linemen David Ramos and Memo Watkins, offensive back Rudy Ramirez, linebacker Musio Garcia and defensive back Mike Gilliam.
El Rancho placed offensive linemen David Lopez and Anthony Cruz, tight end Jess Gonzalez, running back Ralph De LaTorre and defensive lineman Chris Grajales.
Offensive lineman Chris Andresen, kicker Scott Yamasaki and defensive lineman Darrell Brooks made the team from Warren.
La Mirada also has three representatives: defensive lineman Mickey Jackson, linebacker Chris McHenry and defensive back Scott Hart.
St. Paul placed quarterback Greg Willig and linebacker Chuck Ortega.
Artesia also has two players on the team, linebacker Archie Rodriguez and defensive back Wallace Weatherspoon.
The rest of the team includes Lynwood quarterback Charles Levy, Montebello wide receiver Mike Valenzuela and Schurr linebacker Cesar Burgueno.
