CANTON, Mich. — The body of a school administrator’s wife who was reported missing more than three years ago was found by her daughter in a freezer in the basement of the family home, police said today.
Police were holding a suspect in the death of Dorothy Tyburski but they declined to identify the suspect or speculate about possible causes of her death. Tyburski’s husband, Leonard, is dean of students at Mackenzie High School in Detroit. A neighbor said Leonard Tyburski had told him that his wife had left him and moved to Ohio.
