Local News in Brief : Costa Mesa : Orange Coast College Sees Enrollment Jump

Orange Coast College began spring semester classes this week with an enrollment increase of 2.3% over spring a year ago, the college announced Wednesday.
A total of 19,780 students were enrolled Monday on Orange Coast’s first day of spring semester classes. A year ago, 19,336 students were enrolled on opening day of the spring semester.
Spring registration continues at the college through Jan. 27. Open registration, with no appointment necessary, is conducted in the college’s Counseling and Admissions Building from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays.
Registration fees are $5 per unit, to a maximum of $50 per semester. College officials said financial aid is available.
