* Stephen K. Pond, who was named last week as head of Cahners Publishing’s newly formed newspaper division, has also been appointed publishing executive in charge of the entertainment business trade papers Variety and Daily Variety. He succeeds Arthur Anderman, who has been reassigned to the Cahners magazine division.
