Reseda High’s Kyman Expected to Sign With CS Northridge
Coley Kyman, a three-sport standout at Reseda High, today is expected to sign a letter of intent with Cal State Northridge.
Kyman (6-feet-5 1/2, 195 pounds), who has earned nine varsity letters in football, basketball and volleyball at Reseda, will attend Northridge in the fall on a volleyball scholarship.
Kyman, a two-year starter at quarterback, said that he turned down football scholarship offers from Nevada Las Vegas and Miami of Ohio in order to play volleyball.
“Northridge is close to home and I like the school,” said Kyman, the 1988 City Section 3-A Division Player of the Year in volleyball. “Plus, they’ve got a good program. But I think I can go in there and contribute to it right away.”
