Air National Guard Plane Explodes; 2 Killed, 4 Hurt

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska — Two crew members died and four people were hurt when a KC-135 Air National Guard tanker aircraft exploded in flames on a runway, the Air Force reported. Officials said they did not know what caused the fire and subsequent blast late Wednesday, which destroyed the aircraft.
