Crenshaw : Meeting on Area’s Future
Questions about the Crenshaw area in the next century will be addressed by Los Angeles and business officials on Saturday at Dublin Elementary School auditorium.
At the Crenshaw 2000 program, the public can ask Councilwoman Ruth Galanter and 10 other speakers about commercial development, housing trends, traffic and the economy.
“It’s what we consider the beginning of a dialogue about the future,” said Rick Ruiz, spokesman for Galanter. “It’s an attempt to define what everybody’s role in developing the future would be.”
The program will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3875 Dublin Ave. For details, call Galanter’s office at (213) 485-3308.
