W. German Stock Prices Fall as Euphoria Fades

FRANKFURT, West Germany — West German stock prices fell back today as initial market euphoria linked to East Germany’s decision to throw open its borders with the West faded.
Dealers said a correction in the market had been expected after shares had risen 4% since Thursday, when East Germany announced the liberalization of travel laws 28 years after the Berlin Wall was built.
