Wounded Man Found in Car Dies at Hospital
A 27-year-old man died of multiple gunshot wounds in the chest early Saturday shortly after he was found wounded in the front seat of a car parked in Sun Valley, Los Angeles police said.
The victim, whose identity was withheld until relatives could be notified, was found slouched in the front seat of a 1982 Chevrolet Camaro about 4:40 a.m. at the intersection of Sherman Way and Lankershim Boulevard, Detective Mike Coffey said.
Officers found the man after neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
