Mexican Policeman Killed by Protesters

MEXICO CITY — A policeman was killed in a clash with demonstrators protesting recent election results in Mexico’s western state of Michoacan, a spokesman for the state attorney general said Friday.
Rafael Pena Neri was shot and killed by members of the opposition Party of the Democratic Revolution on Thursday in the city of Zitacuaro, about 90 miles west of Mexico City, the spokesman said.
