Police Say Woman Found Strangled in Sun Valley
An unidentified woman was found dead in a Sun Valley alleyway Saturday morning, Los Angeles police said.
The partially clothed woman, who appeared to be between 45 and 50, was strangled and might have been sexually assaulted, police said.
Detective Mike Coffey of the Los Angeles Police Department said the woman was found by the owner of a business in the 10800 block of Sherman Way about 11 a.m.
Coffey said the woman appeared to have been killed the night before. He was unsure if the woman had been killed at that location or if her body had been dumped there later.
There were no suspects Saturday night, Coffey said.
