Contract Awarded: Hughes Aircraft Co.’s Fullerton-based Ground Systems Division was awarded a $130-million contract to provide torpedoes to the Navy and a $107-million contract to supply a battlefield communications system to the Army. Both awards represent follow-on business to existing contracts and were expected, a spokesman said Wednesday.
