Santiago Repeats in Field Hockey

Santiago High School won its second consecutive Tournament of Champions field hockey title by defeating Westminster, 4-0, Saturday at Santa Ana Valley.
The shutout was the 20th of the season for Santiago (23-2-1).
Leanne Stoneking scored three goals to lead Santiago. Espy Monroy scored the other goal.
Santiago right wing Stephanie Higham, who was voted the tournament’s most valuable player, scored three goals in the tournament.
