Waves’ Georgeson Seriously Injured

Mark Georgeson, a sophomore center on Pepperdine’s basketball team, suffered a broken pelvis and three broken ribs in an auto accident early Thursday.
Georgeson was in serious but stable condition at Westlake Community Hospital.
The school said Georgeson was involved in a head-on collision while driving to his Calabasas home through Malibu Canyon after the Waves’ game at Loyola Marymount Wednesday night.
