Senior forward Keith Walker scored 43 points, including 25 in the second half for Brea, which ends 22-6. Unseeded Culver City led, 43-30, at the half and scored the first eight points of the third quarter to take a 51-30 lead with seven minutes left.
Greg Hooks added 22 points for Culver City (17-9), the second-place team from the Ocean League. Culver City used a trapping full-court press to cause 17 turnovers that led to 14 points.
“We had a successful season,” Brea-Olinda Coach Rick Jones said. “We term our season a success. Our problem tonight was their press that would not allow us to control the tempo.”
