WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Long Beach Beats USC
Senior Angelique Lee scored 18 points and had a school-record 26 rebounds as 12th-ranked Cal State Long Beach defeated USC, 82-54, Tuesday at Long Beach.
The 49ers (20-5) grabbed a 10-0 lead in the first four minutes of the game and held a 21-point lead at halftime.
Long Beach guard Dana Wilkerson added 18 points and sophomore guard Trise Jackson had 15 points.
Freshman Joni Easterly led USC (6-16) with 13 points. The Trojans committed 30 turnovers.
