Media General Unfazed by Gabelli Stake: The acquisition by money manager Mario Gabelli of nearly 14% of Media General’s Class A common stock does not represent a takeover threat, the company said. Gabelli’s investment group holds about 3.5 million shares of Class A stock, or 13.7% of the Richmond, Va., company’s total 25.8 million Class A shares outstanding.
