PURE GORE
Throughout history, people have arisen who have absolutely nothing to say to mankind, and pseudo-intelligentsia fall all over themselves to hear them say it.
I seriously doubt that Gore Vidal has anything worth saying to any human being.
Perhaps an article on factors determining the length of tails on alley cats would be of greater benefit to the human race than an article about an old man living in past (very past) glory.
