Museum Director Named: Fritz A. Frauchiger, chief executive officer of Honolulu’s Contemporary Museum and former curator of the ARCO Center for Visual Art in Los Angeles, has been named director of the Palm Springs Desert Museum, effective July 1. “We are extremely pleased with his California background, his art background, education and experience,” said Marshall M.
