CSUN, Master’s Sign Basketball Players

Cal State Northridge, which will enter the NCAA Division I level as an independent next season, signed five junior college players Wednesday to national letters of intent for basketball.
The Master’s College, an NAIA District 3 team, signed one basketball player and expects to sign another Saturday.
The Northridge signees included guards Kyle Kerlegan (6-foot-1) from Canada College in Redwood City and Keith Gibbs (6-6) of West Valley in Saratoga, along with forward Shelton Boykin (6-5) from Valley College. The Matadors also signed swingmen David Keeter (6-6) of El Camino and Brian Killian (6-7), Gibbs’ teammate.
Ryan Farrell, a 6-5 swingman from Everett (Wash.) College, signed with Master’s, and Bruce Watson, a 6-5 swingman from Moorpark, is expected to sign Saturday with the Mustangs.
