Carnation Completes Acquisition of Superior: Carnation Co. said it had completed its acquisition of Superior Brands. Based in Quincy, Mass., Superior sells about $60 million a year in pet products that include dog treats and cat litter. The companies did not disclose the dollar value of the acquisition.
