Karolyn Kirby and Patty Dodd defeated Jackie Silva and Janice Opalinski, 15-6, in the finals of the Huntington Beach Open women’s pro beach volleyball tournament at the Huntington Beach Pier.
Kirby, of San Diego, and Dodd, of El Segundo, earned $3,000 each. Silva, of Redondo Beach, and Opalinski, of San Juan Capistrano, won $2,250 each.
