The federal jury in the 3-month-old racketeering trial of Imelda Marcos and Adnan Khashoggi failed to reach a verdict in its first full day of deliberations. The sequestered jurors were to resume deliberations this morning in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. Marcos, 60, and Khashoggi, 53, are charged with fraud and obstruction of justice in connection with investments by the former Philippines first lady and her late husband, accused of stealing millions from their country’s treasury.
