Iran-Contra Grand Jury Hears North a 6th Time
Associated Press
WASHINGTON — Former White House aide Oliver L. North on Friday testified for the sixth time before the special federal grand jury that continues to investigate the Iran-Contra affair.
The grand jury is trying to determine if other Ronald Reagan Administration officials participated in efforts to deceive Congress about the sale of U.S. arms to Iran and the diversion of weapons-deal profits to the Contras, sources say.
North is appealing his three convictions in the case.
