Alhambra : Condie Becomes Mayor

Boyd Condie took over as mayor this week in the City Council’s rotation of officers.
Mary Louise Bunker became vice mayor at the council meeting Monday night. Former Mayor Barbara Messina becomes a regular council member again.
A 1984 City Charter amendment requires that council members rotate positions every nine months rather than elect officers.
