The Price Is Not Right
In response to “Sellers Nerves” by David W. Myers (Aug. 26), let’s blame the real estate agents and brokers. They have made huge profits by inflating our neighborhoods out of the reach of many of us.
“I’m sorry we have six offers on this home,” I was told time after time when we wanted to re-enter the housing market. Well, we are still renters and have invested out of the area.
Who do they think are going to pay the high prices? How many more families must move out of the area and raise a family? I’m sure not many of them care. I don’t care that they are having hard times. Price these houses honestly and make the increase because the people have improved it, and things will change. We’re not stupid.
