* Don Helfstein was named vice president of marketing for Soft-Kat, a Chatsworth-based subsidiary of W.R. Grace & Co. that distributes computer software. Helfstein was formerly marketing manager for Tate Publishing, a subsidiary of Ashton-Tate, a software company.
