Schleif Named to Two WD-40 Executive Posts
Gerald C. Schleif has been elected president and chief operating officer of WD-40, the San Diego-based company said Tuesday. Schleif replaced long-time WD-40 President John S. Barry, who will remain WD-40’s chairman and chief executive officer.
Schleif, previously WD-40’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, joined the company 21 years ago. “This action by the board will ensure WD-40 has a continuity of leadership in coming years,” Barry said.
