FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Advisory About Scheduled Freeway Work Areas

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Eastbound No. 6 lane; Woodruff Avenue to southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) separation and connector roads; today, 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; raised markers.

2. Cerritos: Westbound No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes; Pioneer Boulevard to northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) junction, westbound Artesia Freeway (91) connector to northbound and southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605), Pioneer Boulevard on-ramp, Studebaker Road off-ramp; today, 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; raised markers.

3. Long Beach: Westbound No. 2, 3 and 4 lanes; east of Atlantic Avenue to Long Beach Freeway (710), Atlantic Avenue on-ramp, northbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to westbound Artesia Freeway (91), No. 1 lane of southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to westbound Artesia Freeway (91); today, 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.; patching.

6. Carson: Northbound No. 4 lane; at 228th Street; Wednesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; bridge repair.

7. San Pedro: Eastbound Terminal Island separation ramp; northbound Harbor Boulevard on-ramp; Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; landscaping.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

8. East Los Angeles: Northbound and southbound alternating lanes; Olympic Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; Wednesday, noon to 2 p.m.; stenciling.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

9. South El Monte: Eastbound No. 1 lane; San Gabriel Boulevard to Santa Anita Avenue; Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 a.m to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

10. South El Monte: Eastbound No. 1 lane; San Gabriel River to Workman Mill Road; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.
