Longer Hours for Farmers Market

Hermosa Beach’s weekly open-air Farmers Market, at 13th Street and Hermosa Avenue, has been authorized to open 30 minutes earlier each Friday and close an hour later.
City Manager Kevin Northcraft said Tuesday that residents requested the extended hours to make it easier to shop for the market’s fresh produce during lunch breaks.
The market, which has been open from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., will open at noon and close at 4:30 p.m.
