Comparing Punishment at USC and Arkansas
Fascinating. Two Arkansas football players are charged with improper use of a credit card, and Coach Jack Crowe benches them. Three USC football players are charged with sexual battery, and Coach Larry Smith keeps playing them. When might a hearing take place on campus? Oh, not until sometime after the November court date? But won’t the season end in November? Yes it will.
It’s no surprise to this Angelena. Winning is all that matters at USC. And, of course, improper use of a credit card would be a far more serious affront to USC’s sensibilities.

Editor’s note: The scheduled court hearing is Nov. 2. USC has four games left after that.
