Belovsky, Remmel Rally Orange Past Winless Foothill, 12-7

TUSTIN — Foothill High School scored first but failed to score again, remaining winless as it fell to Orange, 12-7, Friday night at Tustin High School.
Foothill’s Sean Saunders broke free and ran 56 yards to put the Knights on the scoreboard early in the first quarter. Keo Powell kicked the extra point.
But Orange fought back, with quarterback Josh Belovsky running 37 yards for a touchdown late in the first quarter.
Brian Remmel put Orange in front in the second quarter when he ran 25 yards for a touchdown.
Foothill quarterback Tim Chaix was sacked three times by the Panther defense, and threw an interception with two minutes left to play.
Belovsky completed seven of 13 passes for 65 yards and Remmel gained 60 yards in 16 carries to pace Orange (4-3-1 overall, 1-1-1 in Century League play), while Foothill (0-7, 0-2) was led by Saunders’ 117 yards in 15 carries.
