Vandals Slash Pop Art: Vandals slashed two recent pop art works by Roy Lichtenstein and James Rosenquist on display at Paris’ International Contemporary Art Fair, organizers of the exhibition said Monday. The vandals, shouting anti-imperialist slogans, mutilated the paintings Saturday with knives and dropped pamphlets before they were arrested.
