Life in Los Angeles
The following is a selection of subjects on the front page of today’s Metro Section (Oct. 24):
--Early release of 325,644 accused or convicted felons due to overcrowded jails.
--64 Glendale houses damaged or destroyed, due to “overtaxed” firefighters.
--Extremely questionable financial shenanigans between Mayor Tom Bradley and his greedy friend, Juanita St. John.
--Money-skimming trial of seven Los Angeles County sheriff’s narcotics officers.
I didn’t have the guts to go past the first page. Does anyone else have the feeling that our city is out of control?
