San Diego State will host the Converse/Women’s Basketball Coaches Assn. Clinic on Saturday.

Women’s coaches Beth Burns of SDSU, Jody Conradt of Texas and Chris Gobrecht of Washington will be the featured speakers. More than 100 area coaches are expected to attend the clinic, which will be in SDSU’s Peterson Gym from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

BASEBALL

San Diego State named Glen Larsen Jr. as its coordinator of baseball fund raising. Larsen, 45, will be working under the direction of Coach Jim Dietz. Larsen’s duties will include contacting San Diego area community organizations and businesses regarding promotions and advertising for the SDSU baseball program.
