Eastman Kodak Co.: The giant photography company reported a loss of $206 million for the third quarter after taking a charge to pay $909.5 million in a patent-infringement award to Polaroid Corp. involving instant cameras and film. Kodak reported a $300-million profit for last year’s third quarter. Revenue in the quarter totaled $4.7 billion, up from $4.5 billion in the year-ago period.
