UtiliCorp Settles With Gas Suppliers

KANSAS CITY, Mo — UtiliCorp United Inc. has announced that it will receive $15 million incash over two years for its part of a recent settlement in an antitrust lawsuit.
UtiliCorp said the litigation was tied to overcharges from 1979 to 1982 by three of its natural gas suppliers, Amoco Production Co., Oxy U.S.A. and Williams Natural Gas Co.
