Oak Park 29, Carpinteria 28--Mike Stern ran for three touchdowns and threw a 63-yard pass to Jeff Gibbons to lift the Eagles (6-3, 3-0) at home.
Sean Lohse ran 60 yards for a first-quarter touchdown for Carpinteria (5-3-1, 2-1), but missed two conversion kicks. Pat McIntyre for for two short touchdowns for the Warriors.
