Sapporo Breweries Ltd. has named Munekazu Takenishi president of Sapporo U.S.A. Takenishi held the same title from 1984 to 1988. Sapporo also appointed Tsutomu Kamijo, currently vice president and branch manager of the San Francisco office, to manager of the overseas marketing department, in Tokyo. Hiroshi Sakai, division manager of the San Francisco office, will take over Kamijo’s positions. In 1988, Takenishi was promoted to director of the overseas marketing department in Tokyo, a position he will retain. He will continue to be based in Tokyo where he will manage all of Sapporo’s operations in the United States.
