Van Nuys Man Held in Fatal Shooting of Wife

A Van Nuys man was arrested on suspicion of shooting his wife to death during a quarrel in their apartment Tuesday afternoon, Los Angeles police said.
Joseph Holden, 48, was arrested after police found the body of 47-year-old Luz Holden in their apartment in the 8000 block of Langdon Avenue. She had been shot once in the chest with a pistol and was pronounced dead at the scene, Detective Jim Vojtecky said.
Holden was being held without bail at the Van Nuys station.
