Hewlett-Packard Co.: The Palo Alto computer and measuring-instruments company reported that annual earnings dropped 11% to $739 million, although revenue was up 11% to $13.2 billion. Fourth-quarter earnings declined 18% to $202 million, while revenue rose slightly to $3.6 billion. The firm cited price-discounting and costs related to restructuring for the results.
