Whittier Christian 52, San Jacinto 6--The Heralds (10-0) reached the end zone on their first seven possessions of the night against San Jacinto (5-6) in a first-round game at Whittier College. The Heralds’ backfield duo of Rex Pritchard and Ron Rector combined for 339 yards and five touchdowns. The Tigers’ offense was held to 200 yards, 75 of which came on a run by Jim Manrique. Whittier plays the winner of the Mary Star-Desert game.
