Police are searching for a gang of seven Filipino youths who reportedly stabbed a man several times late Saturday as he walked in the 7400 block of Alsacia Street in Southeast San Diego.
The man, who was not identified by officers, was reportedly walking along the street about 10:15 p.m. when he was attacked by the gang, whose members stabbed him numerous times in the legs. He was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he was treated and released.
The reason for the attack was unknown, police said.
