Ex-Los Alamitos Star Earns Pac-10 Honor

University of California volleyball player Cara Dane, a former standout at Los Alamitos High School, was named Pacific 10 Conference freshman of the year Tuesday.
Dane, a 6-foot-2 middle blocker, set the school’s single-season kill record with 152 this season for the Golden Bears.
