Police are investigating the apparent shooting death of a man whose body was found early Tuesday morning along a downtown city sidewalk.
The victim, identified as Gilberto Torres, 25, appeared to have a gunshot wound to his chest, police said. He was shot shortly after 2 a.m. following an argument, police said. Additional details were not available.
The victim was found fully clothed along the south sidewalk of the 1600 block of Island Avenue.
