San Marino : Ban on Lot Splits Voted
The City Council has initiated new zoning to permanently outlaw lot splits in San Marino’s estate area.
The northwest part of the city--bounded on the south by Rosalind Road and a portion of Oak Grove Avenue, and on the other sides by the city limits--has been protected by a two-year moratorium on subdivisions that expires Feb. 8.
The council on Wednesday voted 5 to 0 to direct the Planning Commission to take steps to permanently rezone the area.
